Students to gain hands-on exposure to cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics and cybersecurity through workshops, hackathons and practical training

Sonipat, October 5: Puran Murti Vidyapeeth has entered into an official collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to strengthen technology-driven learning and create new opportunities for students in emerging fields.  As part of the collaboration, AWS Builder Center activities will be launched on the Puran Murti Vidyapeeth campus, providing students with practical exposure to cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity and other emerging technologies.

Chairman of Puran Murti Vidyapeeth, Dr. Vijaypal Nain, said the initiative is an important step towards preparing students for the rapidly changing technological landscape. It will combine industry-oriented learning with practical knowledge, enabling students to understand how modern technologies are applied in real-world environments. The initiative will particularly benefit students pursuing Engineering, BCA and Polytechnic programmes, giving them opportunities to learn about AWS technologies and cloud platforms beyond conventional classroom teaching.

Under the AWS Builder Center initiative, the institution will organise technical workshops, hackathons and on-ground training programmes on campus. Students will have opportunities to work with modern cloud tools and develop projects based on emerging technologies. Students will also gain access to official AWS learning materials and industry-oriented learning resources, strengthening their technical knowledge and practical capabilities.

Dr. Nain said the growing demand for skills in cloud computing, AI, data analytics and cybersecurity across the IT and technology sectors makes industry exposure increasingly important for students. He said the collaboration with AWS would help prepare students according to evolving industry requirements.

The practical training and technical exposure offered through the initiative are expected to enhance students’ employability and open up better career and placement opportunities.

On the occasion, Dr. Nain welcomed Harsirat Singh, representative of AWS, and presented him with a bouquet and a memento. The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between theoretical education and practical technology skills by giving students direct exposure to contemporary tools, platforms and industry-oriented learning. Through the AWS Builder Center, Puran Murti Vidyapeeth seeks to create an environment where students can experiment, innovate and build skills relevant to the future technology workforce.
