WOMEN POWER CAR RALLY Second edition of Women Power Car Rally is going to be flagged off on February 1, 2015 from Geetanagar High School, Guwahati. The rally will end at Leeway Leisure, Khetri. It was first commenced on 9th February, 2014 at all Assam level. In the second year of the rally, people from across North East are participating into it.The rally has been organised by DARSHANA’S Automotive Training and Research Institute in association with CARING HANDS. The technicalities of the rally will be monitored by the officials of North – Eastern Motor Sports Association(NEMA) which is under the Federation of Motor sports Clubs of India( FMSCI).The main objective of the rally is to encourage more women into this exciting field of motor sports and also to make women folk aware about traffic laws and varied aspects of driving safely. The organisers of the rally believe that this initiative will also help in empowering the women of the region.
